Application Process

To apply for the Madera County Farm Bureau Scholarship, please follow these simple steps:

  • Must be a resident of Madera County
  • Must be a graduating high school senior in 2026
  • Students attending high school outside Madera County are eligible if they live in Madera County
  • Agriculture-related fields
  • Agriculture education
  • Trade skills connected to agriculture
  • Some scholarships allow any course of study if the applicant is a child of an agricultural farm laborer
  • Multi-year $8,000 scholarship ($2,000 per year for 4 years)
  • Three (3) named multi-year $10,000 scholarships ($2,500 per year for 4 years)
  • Two-year $4,000 trade skill scholarship ($2,000 per year
  • Academic performance
  • Participation in school and community activities
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Completed application form
  • High school transcripts with cumulative GPA
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation (no relatives)
  • Tuesday, March 3, 2026
  • Must be postmarked or emailed by this date
  • Email submissions must be complete, including transcripts and recommendations
  • Applicants must submit college registration to receive funds
  • A short biography and personal statement are required
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered
