Submit a Pre-Application for the Madera County MLRP Now!
The Multibenefit Land Repurposing Program (MLRP) in Madera County has released a pre-application for the upcoming funding opportunity. Filling out and submitting a Pre-Application Form prior to the November 22, 2024 deadline is a required first step. The purpose of the pre-application is to ensure that prospective applicants meet the program and project eligibility requirements before developing a complete project proposal.
Following the pre-application deadline, the MLRP Madera team will reach out to each pre-applicant to notify them of their eligibility. Pre-applicants who meet program and project eligibility requirements will be invited to begin the project proposal development process.
How to Submit a Pre-Application Form
There are three options for interested parties to fill-out and submit the Pre-Application Form.
- Online: Fill out the Pre-Application Form online (recommended option)
- Email: Fill out a Pre-Application Form (fillable PDF file), save a copy, and email it to mlrp@maderacounty.com. Please put the name of the applicant in the subject line of the email.
- Mail: Fill out a Pre-Application Form (fillable PDF file), print it, and send via mail to Water and Natural Resources Department, 200 W. Fourth Street, Madera, CA 93637.
Attend a Pre-Application Workshop
All interested parties in the Madera County MLRP funding opportunity are encouraged to attend a pre-application workshop. These meetings on November 6 (in person) and November 8 (virtual) are being offered prior to the pre-application period deadline of November 22, 2024.
Workshop topics and information will include:
- MLRP Madera program and project guidelines.
- Required pre-application and application steps.
- More information about eligible project types and incentive payments.
- Key considerations for projects, including tax implications.
- Technical assistance support and other resources available.
