Happy February! The year has started off with a bang. Water has been flowing, the rain keeps coming, and people are truly working on supporting and implementing water infrastructure. Valadao’s office has introduced the GROW Act, H.R. 23. I encourage everyone to take a look and support his efforts. If you need any information about it, please feel free to reach out to us here at MCFB. There is a post card available for individual submission through Valadao’s office as well as most farm bureau offices. Here at MCFB, we have safety training underway…We had our first CPR Training, with two more on the books. We also have pesticide, hazmat and tractor safety in the works. If you would like to get signed up for any of those classes, please contact the office. I’d also ask that if you are looking for a specific training, please contact me personally, and I will do my best to get it on the schedule because you are probably not the only one needing it. We have updated OSHA posters in the office, so please contact us to make sure you have the required documents posted. Enjoy the rain, and the cool weather. Stay tuned for what’s in store here a Madera County Farm Bureau.
